Chapter Spotlight: Hope College

Read about some of the great ideas behind Hope's hugely successful care packages Venture:

Our chapter is small (as is our college) but we have been making huge strides this year in getting our name out there and conducting ventures. Our most recent (and most successful) venture this year was one in which parents were contacted via email and given the opportunity to send one of four care packages to their student. The options were a fall-themed box, a spa box, a breakfast box, and a basic needs box. Given that the boxes were scheduled to be delivered as the weather was getting colder and midterms were happening, we learned the value of timing in conducting ventures. We gained a lot of manpower and support from a few organizations on campus, including sororities and honors organizations. New and smaller chapters benefit so much from partnerships like these because they provide marketing, recruitment, and venture efficiency perks. Our care packages all included a recruitment flier which had meeting time during which we will introduce Nourish to different residence halls. This venture truly accomplished so much and we would recommend it to any chapter, small or large!
