SDSU is doing an excellent job of building a strong community within their chapter. They are a brand new chapter with a large membership base and an excited executive team, and they consciously balance productivity with having fun. Because they've built such a strong team, they've already launched an incredible business venture, "One of a Kind Bracelets," with plans to improve and scale throughout the rest of the year.
At the SDSU Chapter, we are highly evolved around our sense of community, which I think is pretty great since we are all about different kinds of communities and how to better them. We focus a lot on our close connections to one another and how that can benefit our Chapter and our ventures. This past weekend we sold our "One of a Kind" bracelets on the beach. Not only were we spreading the Nourish Love, but we were also there to hang out with each other. I think it's important to our chapter to balance the productiveness with the fun aspects also! Building the relationships with one another has made our Chapter (and our friendships) stronger than ever. We use the connections and friendships that we already have to expand the Nourish Love and create an impact in our very own tight knit community of friends. You never know who will be willing to get involved and Nourish is a great way to expand relationships you already have along with creating new ones. It's easier than it may look to get people jazzed about Nourish, or creating ventures, or even club finances! Spread the word about what you're doing to everyone you know, use social media as a tool to connect, and have fun with it because chances are pretty good that your community and relationships will grow all because of Nourish.
